[Nicolas] Cooker Baby

when we read to him lately, nicolas likes to finish the sentences in most of his books, so mary is now trying it with a few songs:

a few weeks ago nicolas was obsessed with the monkey song and loved dancing to it all the time:

yesterday nicolas conquered his fear of the vacuum cleaner by letting me hold him while we ran it. afterward he played with it by himself (but didn't turn it on). He had a great weekend. Nona and pa-pa came to visit and Nicolas entertained them with fun meal times, a trip to the bookstore and general tom foolery. plus we also had time to send grandpa a nice birthday greeting via email:

hi everyone. doing fine here. seeing glimpses of the terrible twos on the horizon, but so far nothing too scary. sorry it's taken a while to update here - we've been crazy busy, but will try to upload some xmas clips soon. (thanks to cousin Andrea and Gus at Shop B'zar for the cool shirt!)
